Goals could be at a premium at Ashton Gate

Bristol City are locked in mid-table obscurity in the Championship this season, unlikely to forge a push for the playoffs and pretty clear of the relegation zone, but they are not on a great run and could be held by relegation-threatened Blackpool.

The Robins have picked up only one win in their last five league matches and goals have been an issue with the club scoring only three times during that run.

They failed to find a way past strugglers Huddersfield last time out, drawing 0-0, and Blackpool recorded the same scoreline but against Championship runaway leaders Burnley at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool failed to steer a shot on target in that game and had only 22 per cent of the ball but they held firm to get the point and could adopt a similar approach at Ashton Gate, where under 2.5 goals looks the best bet and a 1-1 draw is the correct score prediction.
