Bromley vs Havant and Waterlooville Predictions

It has been an identical start to the season for Bromley and Havant and Waterlooville as each side has recorded the same outcome at the same point. The two sides go head to head on Bank Holiday Monday at The Courage Stadium as they each bid for supremacy ahead of what will surely be a long and hard fought campaign.

The hosts’ start to the season did not exactly get off on the right foot as they fell to a 2-1 defeat away to Fylde. Bromley managed to firm things up a little with draws with Dover and Harrogate but defeat to Eastleigh meant that it was a pretty ordinary start to the campaign. Thankfully they were able to record their first win of the season next time out against Gateshead and an impressive 2-2 draw with early league leaders Wrexham at the weekend showed that their is plenty of steel within the squad.

Despite promotion from the National League South last season, Havant and Waterlooville’s life in the top division of non-league football did not get off to the best start, as they were humbled in a 3-0 defeat away to Barrow. Draws against Boreham Wood and Fylde proceeded a 4-3 defeat to Dover but they were able to bounce back with a 4-3 win over Braintree Town. Like their hosts, they were able to show their steel at the weekend as they managed to hold big spending Salford to a 1-1 draw.

Given that both of these sides have proven to be quite difficult to beat in the early stages of the season, we think that they will both go into the game with plenty of confidence. This, combined with the fact that both sides have seen both teams score in 67% of their outings so far leads us to believe backing them both to hit the back of the net is the way to go in this fixture.
