Brondby vs Viborg Betting Tips & Predictions

Brondby’s slim hope of a Danish Superliga title ended a few weeks ago, and now they come into their final three league fixtures of the season attempting to push into the top three of the table.

They currently occupy 4th position with a return of 51 points from their 30 games. They are two points ahead of AaB below them and one adrift of last season’s champions Midtjylland in 3rd. 2nd placed Sonderjylland are seven points ahead so could still be caught, but it’s unlikely with just nine points left to play for.

The hosts are in decent shape at the moment as well. They have won their last three games on the trot after enduring a run of three defeats in four games previously. At home they have won five, drawn one, and lost one of their last seven Superliga games.

Viborg are almost safe from relegation in their debut season back in the Danish top flight. They have a seven point advantage over 11th placed Esbjerg below them and a large advantage in goal difference, so two points from their remaining three matches would guarantee safety for them.

They may have to rely on Esbjerg slipping up though, because at the moment Viborg don’t look particularly capable of picking up points. They have lost their last three matches in a row and only won one of their last eight in the Superliga.

Defensively they have been quite poor recently too. They have conceded 14 goals in their last six outings and nine in their last four away games in the Superliga. This has resulted in a few high scoring games, and prior to that there wasn’t a huge shortage of goals. Ten of their last 12 away games and each of their last seven overall have had at least two goals scored.

Brondby have seen at least two scored in each of their last five as well, and considering their good form at the moment I think odds of 17/20 for a Brondby Win and Over 1.5 Goals are excellent value. I’m going for a 2-1 correct score prediction at 15/2 as well.
