Burnley vs Ipswich Betting Tips

These two currently occupy the final two play-off places with Burnley 4 points better off than Ipswich. It is the Tractor Boys who are in the better form though and they inflicted on Brighton only their 2nd defeat of the season, with a 1-0 win at the AmEx stadium in midweek.

That made it 5 consecutive away wins for Ipswich so they will travel North with plenty of confidence and belief that they can at least avoid defeat here and you can back them to do that at 5/6.

Burnley’s form has been patchy and they’ve only won 2 of their last 9 matches although they did both come over the past fortnight in the shape of convincing 4-0 home wins against Charlton and Bristol City. Andre Gray netted a hat-trick in the Bristol City game and is clearly a major goal threat but he won’t get anywhere near as many openings against Ipswich and the East Anglian side will give Burnley plenty more to think about at the other end too.

The Clarets are strong at Turf Moor but have lost twice at home this season and have only hosted 1 of the other sides in the top six so far and that was Brighton who got a point.

Ipswich are capable of doing likewise and with both sides among the top scorers in the division with 34 goals each so far, we should see goals at both ends here and you can back it to finish 1-1 at 11/2.
