Draw specialists meet on final day

Too many draws during the run-in have cost the Cumbrians a shot at the playoffs and there is now nothing on this final day clash with a dismal Walsall side that have already had their worst-ever league finish confirmed.

Carlisle boss Chris Beech saw his team come from behind twice to get a win at Leyton Orient last time out and they may be able to finish the season with their heads held high after a testing winter.

But Saddlers boss Brian Dutton is on a hot seat at Bescot Stadium after a shocking second half of the season with dull football as much to do with the fans’ ire as the results.
