Connor’s Quay were crowned Welsh Premier League Champions last season after finishing two points clear of their nearest rivals. They lost just three of their 32 games, conceding only 20 goals along the way. Most impressively though they were able to score 70 times, averaging well over two goals a game over the course of the season.

Connor’s Quay were in the Champions League qualifying rounds at the beginning of the season but were defeated by Sarajevo early on and fell into the Europa League qualifying as a result. Their adventure didn’t last much longer however with the side being beaten by Dinamo Tblisi.

Alashkert are the reigning Armenian Premier League champions, having finished five points clear of their opponents in a disjointed season. They scored 25 goals in 24 games and conceded just 15 with their games averaging just 1.7 goals per game overall.

The side fell at the first stage in the Europa League qualification last season, being beaten 1-0 by Renova of North Macedonia and they’ll be hoping to go at least one step further this season.

Alashkert come into this game as favourites but we see these sides as very even with the home advantage for Connor’s Quay levelling things out. The visitors don’t score many goals but could be able to control the Welsh side’s attack and, for that reason, we’re backing this game to see under 2.5 goals. We can’t separate the two sides though and we’re backing a 1-1 final score in this tie.
