Potentially underwhelming first clash in the top flight

This will be the first ever Serie A meeting between these two clubs and both will be keen to achieve a positive result. However, Cremonese are yet to win a single game after 17 rounds of matches and relegation to the second tier almost seems inevitable. They simply do not score enough goals having given their fans a reason to celebrate on just two occasions at home this season. Their best chance is to turn this match into a scrappy affair and hope they can nick it.

The visitors will see this as an opportunity to claim just their second away win of the campaign but in a similar fashion, they do not hit the target often enough and it’s something that needs improvement if they’re to push up the table. They have failed to win any of their last four road matches but in fairness, three of those have been against AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina.
