Crotone vs Torino Predictions
- Crotone have lost 10 of their last 11 Serie A matches, including each of their previous three on home soil.
- Torino are unbeaten in six league games and have lost just one of their previous 11.
- The visitors have not tasted defeat in any of their last nine meetings with Crotone.
Torino set for further survival boost
Torino have enjoyed a resurgence of late, as they are unbeaten in their last six Serie A games and have only lost one of their previous 11, while new boss Davide Nicola is yet to taste defeat since taking over as head coach in January.
That run of form has helped lift Il Toro to within a point of safety, although they could have been out of the bottom three had their midweek fixture with Lazio not been postponed.
The reason for that postponement was due to a reported coronavirus outbreak within the Torino squad and that could prove the visitors only major stumbling block on Sunday.
That’s because bottom of the table Crotone should not pose much of a threat, as they have lost 10 of their last 11 Serie A matches, including each of their previous three at the Stadio Ezio Scida.
Crotone have also failed to win any of their last nine meetings with Torino, with their last victory over Sunday’s opponents coming when both teams were playing in Serie B back in 2010.
We are predicting Torino to secure another positive result in the fixture on Sunday, so long as they are suffering no significant repercussions from their coronavirus outbreak.
Our overall score prediction is for a narrow 1-0 Torino victory, which would match the result Nicola’s side achieved in their last away fixture against another of Serie A’s struggling teams Cagliari.
