Crystal Palace vs Brentford Predictions
- Both teams have scored in four of Palace’s last five Premier League matches
 - Both teams have scored in five of Brentford’s last seven league games
 - Both teams have scored in the last six meetings between these two

Bees can bar’s Palace route back to the top-six
After slipping down the table in recent weeks, Crystal Palace will see Saturday’s visit of Brentford as a chance to restate their top-six credentials. But the Bees are buzzing after back-to-back Premier League wins and could be a major threat to take the three points themselves.
Both sides enjoyed big EFL Cup wins in midweek with the Eagles’ victory at Anfield grabbing all the headlines. Arne Slot gifted them a great opportunity with his team selection and Palace fully deserved their 3-0 margin.
Brentford also reached the last eight with a 5-0 thumping of Grimsby Town on Tuesday night. It’s not a result that will reverberate around the football world but it was an impressive performance at the home of a side that had both beaten Manchester United and not fielded a load of teenagers.
Brentford have the weapons to make their mark
Keith Andrews made nine changes with only defender Sepp van den Berg and forward Dango Ouattara appearing from the starting XI that put Liverpool to the sword the previous Saturday.
His exciting front four of Igor Thiago, Mikkel Damsgaard, Kevin Shade and Ouattara could cause plenty of problems for the Eagles as long as the likes of Jordan Henderson and Vitaly Janelt can win the midfield battle.
Defensively, the Bees are still a little suspect. But they can score goals from open play and set-pieces, which will give them a chance at Selhurst Park.
Eagles are not trustworthy at odds-on quote
Oliver Glasner’s side seem to have perfected the art of beating Liverpool, but they have fluffed their lines against clubs that they were expected to beat- such as Sunderland and Nottingham Forest.
Three of their four home league games this term have finished all square while the other required a stoppage-time winner and that is enough to put you off their odds-on quote here.
Backing both teams to score seems a much safer prospect given four of the Eagles’ last five league games and five of Brentford’s last seven, have seen goals at both ends. The last six head-to-head meetings have also seen the net bulge at both ends.
