Crystal Palace To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Millwall face their second south London derby within the matter of days, and having laboured to a draw against Charlton in the Championship on Saturday, they are fancied come up short against Premier League side Crystal Palace on Tuesday.

      Crystal Palace 3-0

      Reason for tip

Palace ran out 3-1 winners when they last Millwall in the FA Cup in March and they could secure another comfortable victory in this rematch at Selhurst Park this week.

      Crystal Palace vs Millwall Predictions

      • Crystal Palace are unbeaten in their last six meetings with Millwall
      • Palace have kept clean sheets in five of their last six matches
      • One or both teams have failed to score in five of the past eight meetings

Eagles to land more derby delight

Crystal Palace have become the draw specialists this term, drawing five of their seven matches in all competitions this season, but we predict a comfortable victory for the Eagles in this Carabao Cup clash with south London rivals, Millwall.

Palace won the FA Cup last term and tamed the Lions with a 3-1 win at Selhurst Park on their way to Wembley glory, and a similar outcome is our prediction for this latest encounter.

Millwall have failed to win any of their last six meetings with the Eagles, but they have made a strong start to the campaign but they are winless in their last two and only just scraped a draw in another derby dust-up with Charlton on Saturday.

On that occasion the Lions looked tame until snatching an 88th-minute equaliser and they may struggle to trouble a Palace side who have kept five clean sheets in their last six matches.

Oliver Glasner could opt to rotate his side for this contest but there is still likely to be a gulf in class and the home side should run out comfortable winners.

One or both teams have failed to score in five of the past eight meetings between these rivals, so a 3-0 Crystal Palace triumph is our correct-score prediction.
