CSKA Moscow vs PSV Predictions
CSKA Moscow opened their Champions League Group B action with a disappointing 1-0 defeat against Wolfsburg, while PSV earned an important 2-1 victory over Manchester United.
Russian Super League leaders CSKA Moscow would have been disappointed by their 1-0 defeat to relatively inexperienced European team Wolfsburg. Still, this club has always succeeded more based upon their ability to control the pace and flow of the game in their own conditions. This is a wide open group with a slightly wobbly Manchester United and a young PSV side.
Of course, PSV enjoyed their opening match-up. They fully deserved their opening 2-1 win and they have to be eyeing up Group B as a serious opportunity to advance to the knockout stage. They’re Dutch Eredivisie campaign hasn’t got off to a perfect start and there are questions about their ability to keep producing results with their current squad depth is a little question.
Three Reasons for Betting Tips
1. A question of styles
Playing their current style in Russia will be difficult for PSV. We think that CSKA will bounce back with a strong, suffocating defensive effort on Wednesday night.
2. PSV experience
Travelling on difficult trips and being successful usually requires experience. There isn’t that much experience in this PSV squad and we think that they will come unstuck on this trip.
3. CSKA are a good team
This squad is leading Zenit in the Russian Super League, they are a good team and just didn’t play their best game against Wolfsburg.
