Cyprus disrupted Group B early on when they travelled to face Bosnia and stole a 2-1 victory. Since then, they’ve really played to the form book, thrashing Andorra twice, but eventually losing tough games to Wales and Israel, before getting thrashed 5-0 by Belgium.

This is a team that plays a good fast-paced style of football. Wales have first hand experience of how difficult they can be in terms of the way in which they match-up. Still, they are a little fragile at the back and there will be some great chances for the likes of Gareth Bale to create mayhem.

Wales have four games to go. If they beat Cyprus and Andorra, then they have a terrific chance to finish in Group B’s top two places, qualifying for Euro 2016. That would be a terrific achievement for this club, but the trip to play Cyprus won’t be easy.

Their road trips have been mixed through the qualifying rounds so far. They only managed to beat Andorra 2-1, did reasonably well to draw 0-0 with Belgium and then thrashed Israel 3-0. Two tallies for Gareth Bale were a major difference in that game and Wales will be hoping that he makes a significant impact again against Cyprus.

      Three Reasons for Betting Tips

      1. Gareth Bale

Bale is the class player in the tie and if he comes close to maintaining recent international form, he’ll be able to take advantage of the lack of fortitude and discipline in Cyprus’ back-line.

      2. Welsh Scrappiness

Sometimes long breaks between games can disrupt this in the international game, but it’s hard not to feel that Wales has been building some momentum behind their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign. They’ve put themselves at the top of the group and a win on Thursday will be another big step forward.

      3. Difficult to predict Cyprus

Cyprus’ form has been somewhat erratic during the competition so far. It’s a little tricky to predict, but we do feel that against top quality attacking options, they will get found out.
