Dagenham And Redbridge vs Aldershot Predictions
- Eight of Dagenham’s ten home league games have included three or more goals
- There have been three or more goals in seven of Aldershot’s last ten away fixtures
- Aldershot head into this one unbeaten in seven matches in all competitions
Expect goals at Dagenham
Dagenham have only played ten home league matches this season, but they have already thrown up a staggering 41 goals, 25 in their favour and 16 against.
The only two fixtures at the Chigwell Construction Stadium that have seen less than than three goals have been a pair of 1-0 defeats to Yeovil and Eastleigh, also the only two home outings Daryl McMahon’s side have failed to score in.
There are concerns The Daggers may head into this one a touch rusty though. They have only had two league games in December, winning them both, but they came off the back of three straight league defeats and a run of one win in seven.
Aldershot in form
Aldershot on the other hand are certainly heading up the table after a strong six week spell. They are unbeaten in seven, winning five of those fixtures, and have moved up to 17th place, six points clear of the relegation zone.
New manager Mark Molesley took charge in mid-September and after losing eight of his first nine games, he has steadied the ship by tightening things up in defence in keeping three clean sheets in the last seven fixtures.
Matches do still include plenty of goals though. Four of those seven games have included three or more strikes, as have ten of the last 15.
Both these teams know how to score and each have a degree of difficulty in keeping clean sheets. I predict there will be three or more goals in the fixture, but suspect it could be the visitors who edge it after their recent good run, selecting 2-1 to Aldershot as a correct score.
