No happy Rovers reunion for Eustace

Blackburn should be backed to defeat an out-of-form Derby on Saturday at Pride Park as Rovers look to get one over their former manager John Eustace.

Five of Derby’s last six Championship home games have ended in a loss and it is six games since they last won at home.

Blackburn are eighth in the Championship having won 15 of their 35 games this season. The hosts are propping up the table with just seven wins so far, having lost 20 times.

Derby lost 1-0 to Middlesbrough last Saturday, their tenth defeat in 12 Championship games. The result was no surprise with Middlesbrough priced at 4/6 to win the game.

With just seven wins all season, Derby’s struggles at both ends of the pitch are evident. They have conceded in ten of their last 12 Championship home games and the hosts’ struggles in attack are a major concern. Derby have failed to score in their last six home Championship games and have lost five of those matches without finding the net. They have averaged just over a goal a game at home this season.

A 2-0 win for Blackburn looks like the most likely outcome. Their last two Championship wins have been by that scoreline and three of their last four matches have had fewer than three goals.
