• Derby are yet to lose at home after eight games in all competitions (W2, D6).
• Blackburn have just one win in seven attempts away from home and have lost their last three trips.
• The Rams have just one defeat in their last eight overall (W2, D5).

Rams bid to maintain unbeaten home run

Derby County’s strong form at home has kept their hopes of survival alive after being hit with a points deduction and they can continue their unbeaten run at Pride Park when Blackburn Rovers visit on Saturday.

The Rams are yet to be beaten on home soil with two wins and five draws from seven games so far. A victory over Rovers on Saturday would put them right back in the mix in the survival fight and at a big price they do look tempting, but it may be wise to take them on in the double chance market instead given the amount of games they draw.

Blackburn did end a four-game winless run by beating Reading at home last weekend but they haven’t managed an away win since August. Rovers are winless in five on their travels and have lost their last three away fixtures, so backing Derby to win or draw makes sense here.

It may pay off to take a bigger risk in the correct score market though and a 2-1 win for the hosts has some appeal. Blackburn have at least scored in two of their last three away losses and Derby have conceded in three of their last five home games.
