Juventus vs Atalanta Predictions
- Juventus have lost just one of their last ten home games, winning six
- Atalanta have suffered back‑to‑back defeats
- La Dea have scored in their last 11 away games
Juve back on track after Sassuolo setback
Juventus head into Sunday’s clash with Atalanta looking to build momentum before the international break. Luciano Spalletti’s men were stung by a chaotic 3‑2 defeat at Sassuolo last weekend, a loss made even more painful by the fact the winning goal was scored by Juve loanee Vasilije Adzic.
But the Bianconeri bounced back in style on Thursday, smashing NEC Nijmegen 5‑0 in the Europa League, with Randal Kolo Muani and Nick Woltemade both finding the back of the net.
Maurizio Sarri’s Atalanta have lost two on the spin — their late heartbreak at Roma followed by a shock defeat to Cagliari — and confidence has dipped after a bright start to the season. Their record at the Allianz Stadium is superb, unbeaten in eight visits, but recent form suggests that run is under threat.
Big players back for Old Lady
Spalletti’s injury list remains long, with Manuel Locatelli, Kephren Thuram, Kenan Yildiz, Juan Cabal, Jeremie Boga and Jeff Ekhator all sidelined, but Weston McKennie is available and Andrea Cambiaso could make his return.
As for La Dea, key defender Isak Hien and attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana are set to miss out again. With momentum restored and home form solid, the Old Lady should edge a tight contest 2-1.
