Örebro’s new coach faces big first assignment

Örebro changed coach during the mid-season break, bringing back their former assistant Vitor Gazimba to replace Axel Kjäll – who moves upstairs.

Something had to be done to reverse the trend of ÖSK’s results, which had seen them drop to second-last place after five defeats in their previous seven.

Gazimba took over in early June and has overseen two friendlies so far, both defeats, but there already appear to be signs of an improvement.

Blåränderna lost to Kalmar (fifth) and drew with Degerfors (seventh) and may need another game like this one to truly rediscover their best.
