Dundee United kicked off their campaign with a 1-0 loss at home to Aberdeen, with the fans still smarting at the fact that they missed out on the Europa League by a single point last season.

This loss was not the way to heal that wound, but it was not entirely unexpected given Aberdeen’s stature.

Apart from drawing with Kilmarnock, Celtic have beaten Ross County, Partick Thistle, and Inverness, and are looking forward to a Champions League playoff clash with Malmo this week.

Looking back at the past results you just can’t look past Celtic. They have won the last 4 meetings between these sides, with the 5^th ending in a draw. Amazingly, all 5 of these matches have been played this calendar year.

Celtic managed to knock them out of the Scottish League Cup, the Scottish FA Cup, and do the double over them in the Premier League all within the space of under 2 months last season. The champions scored 13 goals in these 5 matches, only conceding once.

The past results indicate that when Celtic beat Dundee, they bag a few goals as their opponents try to get a foothold back in the game.
