Dynamo Kiev vs Chelsea Betting Tips

Dynamo Kiev’s unbeaten start to the season came to an end on Friday when Shakhtar Donetsk came to town and came away with an impressive 3-0 win.

This humbling defeat allowed the visitors to take the lead in the Ukranian Premier League on goal difference, and is a result that could either spur Dynamo Kiev on to improve their performances or send them into a downward spiral.

The loss brought an end to Dynamo Kiev’s six match winning streak, and also to their run of six games without conceding a goal.

Their 2-2 draw with Porto and 2-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv does leave them at the top of Champions League Group G though, with them and Porto tied on four points apiece.

Chelsea, having beat Maccabi Tel Aviv and lost to Porto, sit in 3^rd position with three points from their opening two games.

This is the least of the Londoners’ problems though, as their dismal start in the Premier League sees them all the way down in 11^th position after nine games.

They did at least manage to get a win against the struggling Aston Villa on Saturday though, but even that 2-0 win didn’t look particularly convincing considering the gulf in class between the teams.

This was their first win in three games in all competitions, with losses to Southampton and Porto and a draw against Newcastle ending what looked to be a return to form after they had beaten Tel Aviv, Arsenal, and Walsall in a row.

Despite Chelsea’s poor form, they have at least managed to score in all but one of their competitive games this season, and a failure to score against Manchester City is nothing to be ashamed of.

Dynamo Kiev have scored 16 goals in their last seven matches as well, so I think that odds of 5/6 for Both Teams to Score are excellent value, that and a 2-2 draw at odds of 14/1.
