Six teams will make it to the Champions League group stages by way of Qualifying and that’s the task being faced by the hosts who will start at their new base in Poland. They’ve recently embarked on a ‘Stop the War, Play for Peace’ campaign in which they have travelled around Europe following the cancellation of the Ukrainian Premier League halfway through the season. That won’t be easy though as the Turkish outfit are on an exceptional run of 19 matches without tasting defeat. Jorge Jesus has injected a new lease of life into a Fener side that finished as runners-up in last season’s Turkish top flight and with the new season fast approaching, a positive result will be hugely important for the ‘Yellow Canaries’.
