Ecuador vs Bolivia Betting Tips

Ecuador pulled off a big shock on Friday when they kicked off their World Cup qualification campaign with a 2-0 victory away to Argentina.

The visitors held their own for much of the match, but it was two goals within two minutes with less than ten minutes remaining that made all the difference, with central defender Fricson Erazo and striker Felipe Caicedo scoring within minutes of each other to claim a vital three points.

Ten of their last 15 away matches have ended in defeat, with the only victory being the aforementioned Copa America win over Ecuador.

This was their first win against Ecuador after ten previous attempts, with nine of those ending in defeat. At home, Ecuador have won all of their 5 matches against Bolivia.

Bolivia have lost their last two away matches by significant margins, with Chile beating them 5-0 and then Argentina putting seven past them. With Ecuador high on confidence after their win against Argentina I am expecting a comfortable victory for them.

Odds of 10/11 for an Ecuador Win and Over 2.5 Goals look like good value to me, especially since six of Bolivia’s last seven away matches have ended with three or more goals. I’m also backing a 3-1 Ecuador Win at 14/1.
