There’s a lot to like about Villarreal’s current form. They have won six of their last seven Primera Liga matches and have been winners on four of their last five away days, including their last three road games.

Their attack looks potent, with the visitors having scored two or more goals in 11 of their 16 league games this season. They have also found the net at least twice in seven of their last eight matches in the Primera Liga.

A 2-1 win for Villarreal looks a decent correct-score bet. Five of Elche’s last seven Primera Liga matches have gone over 2.5 goals and, while Villarreal have three 2-1 wins to their name so far this season, they have lost just once in their last nine away games.
