Estonia vs Norway Predictions
- Norway have won all three games in qualifying by a combined 10-goal margin
- Estonia lost 3-0 home and away to Sweden in the Nations League
- The hosts have lost nine of their last 11 qualifiers, conceding 29 times in that stretch
Norway & Sorloth can continue perfect start
Norway thumped Italy 3-0 on Friday to continue their 100% record in World Cup qualifying. They’ve opened up a nine-point lead over the Italians as they chase top spot in Group I, the only automatic place in next summer’s World Cup.
Norway have been dominant, as you’d expect of a side who are assembling an incredible array of attacking talent. Erling Haaland is their star, but Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth leads the line alongside him. Wolves’ striker Jorgen Strand Larsen is their backup, with a talented midfield featuring Martin Odegaard, Oscar Bobb, Benfica’s Andreas Schjelderup, and RB Leipzig’s Antonio Nusa.
This Norway side is blistering going forward. Estonia should be worried, having lost seven of their eight Euro 2024 qualifiers while conceding 22 times.
The hosts have lost two of their first three games in this group without meeting either of the top seeds. They have been beaten 3-0, 3-0, and 5-0 by Sweden since September 2023, so Norway can rack up a big victory here.
The visitors have scored 12 times across their three wins so far, with Sorloth netting in each of them. They’ve won those three matches by a combined margin of 10 goals, so back their forwards to star in another huge win.
