      Everton vs West Brom Predictions

Everton’s 3-0 win at Stoke last weekend made it three consecutive 3-0 victories for the Goodison Park outfit, and this run of impressive results has taken some of the pressure off Roberto Martinez.

The Everton manager had previously been coming under fire from the fans as their defence constantly faltered and their team struggled to win matches despite their impressive attack.

Everton are the 3rd highest scorers in the Premier League, thanks in no small part to the heroics of Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku, who have scored 24 league goals between them. However, their 34 goals conceded puts them well in the bottom half of the table in the defensive table.

Their recent record in all competitions stands at five wins, three draws, and two defeats in their last ten matches. Their defeat to Manchester City saw them miss out on a trip to Wembley for the League Cup Final, but they remain in the FA Cup and have moved up to 8th in the Premier League.

West Brom managed to claw their way through to the FA Cup 5th Round on Wednesday with a penalty shootout victory against Peterborough in their 4th Round Replay. This disappointing performance was their 5th game without a win, and their only victory in their last nine outings was against League One side Bristol City in an FA Cup 3rd Round replay.

This poor form has seen West Brom slip down to 14th in the Premier League table, and they are now just six points above the bottom three.

Everton managed a thrilling 3-2 win at the Hawthorns back in September, and that was back when West Brom’s defence were looking good. Now, the defence of the visitors is looking worse, and they are visiting a side who have netted nine goals in their last three games and have the second best home scoring record in the league.

This makes odds of 4/6 for Everton Over 1.5 Team Goals look very good value for money, and I’m going for a 3-1 correct score prediction at 14/1.
