Falkirk vs Hibernian Betting Tips

Falkirk are in incredible form at the moment. They endured a sticky spell in September time that marred an otherwise excellent start to the season, but since then they have looked unstoppable.

They come into this match on the back of an 11 match unbeaten streak in all competitions, with nine of those matches ending in victory for the promotion contenders.

However, one of their failures to win was against Hibernian, and their last defeat also came against their opponents back at the end of October.

This makes it just one point for Falkirk in their last three meetings with Hibernian, so it will be difficult for the home side on Sunday.

Their excellent form has kept them well in the race for the Scottish Championship title though. They sit in 2^nd position, ahead Hibernian on goal difference and three points adrift of leaders Rangers.

A win for either side could take them level on points with the Championship leaders on Sunday, but it would require a 20 goal turnaround for either team to take the lead in the title race. Hibernian and Rangers both have a game in hand over Falkirk though.

The visitors aren’t in bad form either. They did lose to Rangers just after Christmas, but that is their only defeat in their last 20 fixtures, with 17 of those games being victories for the side who narrowly missed out on promotion last season.

Away from home Hibernian have lost three of their nine Championship matches, winning all of the other six. Falkirk have won eight of their ten home matches in the league, losing just once.

This will be a tight match. Falkirk pride themselves on holding a tight ship at the back, but Hibernian haven’t been stopped from finding the net since a match against Rangers in August. Falkirk haven’t failed to score since their last home match against Hibs.

I think this makes odds of 4/5 for Both Teams to Score excellent value, and I’m going for that along with a 1-1 draw at 6/1.
