FC Copenhagen vs Astra Predictions & Betting Tips, Match Previews

Astra are making their first appearance in the Champions League and they face a tough away leg without their top goalscorer from last year Denis Alibec. Without his goals I think they’ll struggle to keep up with Copenhagen at home. The Danish side have been banging the goals in at home recently, scoring 17 in their last five home games.

Copenhagen have some pretty good historical form in European competitions, especially at home.  2-0 win over Dnipro, 1-0 win over Galatasaray and a 1-1 draw against Juve. They should have too much quality for Astra and that gap should show over two legs as I expect the Danes to run out comfortable winners.

A bet on -1.5 Asian Handicap is good value here, if Copenhagen get an early goal then Astra will be forced to push forward and chase the game. This will create even more space for them to exploit and this could end up 3-0 easily, at 7/1 it certainly looks like a solid correct score prediction.
