FC Porto vs Estrela Amadora Predictions

Routine win for leaders

Porto have been solid at the back this season and can win without conceding when they host Estrela at Estadio do Dragao on Monday.

They are top of the league, having won 12 of their 13 games so far. Estrela, who finished last season with 29 points from seven wins and 19 defeats, are currently 13th in the table with three wins, five draws and five losses.

Porto have been the winners in two Primeira Liga home games in a row, but Estrela have been in patchy form recently, with two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six league games. However, they did win their last outing, beating Arouca 3-1 last weekend.

The hosts have been defensively solid in recent encounters with Estrela, keeping three clean sheets in four meetings. Porto have also kept six clean sheets in their last seven home games.

The Estrela attack has been blunt on the road, with the visitors failing to score in seven of their last nine Primeira Liga away games.

A 2-0 win for Porto looks the best correct-score bet. The hosts have won two of their last three Primeira Liga matches against Estrela by a two-goal margin, and two of the visitors’ five defeats this season have also been by a two-goal margin.
