FC Porto vs Moreirense Predictions

• Porto have won two of their last three home Primeira Liga matches by more than one goal
• Moreirense have lost on their last six Primeira Liga visits to the Dragao by an aggregate score of 23-1.

Moreirense usually melt in the Dragon’s den

Moreirense will fear another chastening experience when they head into the Dragon’s den to face Porto on Saturday. The Green and Whites have lost on their last six Primeira Liga visits to the Dragao by an aggregate score of 23-1.

Rui Borges’ men should be at full strength for this clash with the four players who missed last weekend’s 3-1 win at Estoril – Lawrence Ofori , Fabiano , Vinicius Mingotti and Madson – all recovered in time to feature alongside new signing Miguel Rebelo.

But Porto are in rude health too with striker Evanilson revelling in his role as the lone striker in Sergio Conceicao’s new 4-2-3-1 system.

The Brazilian has bagged four goals in his last two appearances and looks the most likely to register in this contest now Toni Martinez appears to have been relegated to the bench. Porto were efficient in front of goal in their 2-0 home win over Braga, but should create more opportunities against inferior opponents.

Moreirense have picked up more points than many expected from a relatively easy slate of away fixtures this term,  but they failed to score in both of their trips to top-half opponents and went down 3-0 at the Alvalade.

Porto have not been as potent as Sporting Club this season, so a 2-0 correct score play is advised alongside backing the hosts to cover a -1 handicap.
