Feyenoord can break Drita’s resolve

Feyenoord were held to a goalless draw by Drita in the first leg of their Europa Conference League qualifier in Kosovo but should be able to get the job done at their De Kuip home.

The Dutch giants dominated the first leg with 65% possession and managed to create 12 chances, with five on target, but they were unable to break the deadlock.

Drita proved to be well disciplined at the back but offered very little going forward and had just two attempts over the 90 minutes, one on target, and it is hard to imagine them holding out again in the Netherlands.

Feyenoord had a solid record at home last term in the Dutch top flight with nine wins and just two defeats from 17 games.  De club aan de Maas also came through pre-season unbeaten at home with three wins and two draws and they finished last season with three wins and three clean sheets at De Kuip.

The Dutch outfit may have been unable to find an opener in Kosovo but with home advantage we’re expecting them to win fairly comfortably in Rotterdam on Thursday and we’re backing a Feyenoord/Feyenoord result in the half-time/full-time market, while a 3-0 victory for the hosts looks to have a chance in the correct score market.
