Fulham and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Fulham are unbeaten in their last three games whilst scoring eight goals in the process whilst Everton are just finding their feet after a dominant win last time out. Even so, we’re siding with the hosts to win in an end-to-end affair.

Fulham 2-1

Reason for tip

For all of Fulham’s success this season, they have kept a joint-second league low two clean sheets and could be made to work hard for a narrow 2-1 victory.

Fulham vs Everton Predictions

  • Fulham are unbeaten in three games since Aleksandar Mitrovic returned from injury.
  • Fulham’s influential Serbian striker scored three goals across his last three appearances.
  • Everton lost their last two away games without scoring.
  • Each of Fulham’s last ten Premier League games produced over 2.5 goals.

Fulham can keep on surprising

Fulham’s reputation as a yoyo club may not last much longer if they can keep up their incredible start to the season by their own standards. To put that start in tangible terms, Fulham are at least eight points better off than at the same stage in each of their last three Premier League relegation campaigns.

A comprehensive 3-0 win over Aston Villa which saw Steven Gerrard sacked was quickly followed up with a 3-2 win over Leeds, further boosting confidence as Fulham make their return to Craven Cottage.

There is an extra layer of spice added to this encounter as Fulham boss Marco Silva looks to take revenge on the side that sacked him back in 2019, he did lose his last two meetings with Everton but current form suggests that it could be third time lucky for the Portuguese manager.

Everton are growing in confidence

A comprehensive 3-0 win over Crystal Palace last time out was a much needed result for Everton after recording three straight defeats prior to that. With players returning from injury, things could be starting to click into place for the Toffees.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin found himself back amongst the goals as well with his first strike since his return from injury, so the positives are there to be seen.

However, Everton have scored one or fewer goals in all but one game since May and they’ve kept a meagre three clean sheets in Premier League action this season, only four sides have kept fewer.

Stick with the Cottagers to win an exciting affair

With a PL-high ten of Fulham’s 12 games this season resulting with both teams scoring, we’re confident that a resurgent Everton can cause them problems at the back. However, we’re going for Fulham to come out on top with a win & BTTS selection.

A narrow 2-1 scoreline makes up the correct score prediction, whilst Fulham’s star man Aleksandar Mitrovic could find himself amongst the goals after netting three times in his last three games.
