Will Getafe spring a shock?

Getafe continue to struggle along in La Liga, and they head into this game having lost four successive matches in all competitions, including against Levante in the Copa del Rey.

Their home form has been particularly poor, losing four times in nine league outings, picking up only five points against teams in the top half of the table.

Quique Sánchez Flores’ side did run Barcelona close last time out, but still lost 1-0 and failed to create too many chances, a symptom of a season in which they have netted just 16 times in 18 outings.

Real Betis looking to bounce back

Real Betis may be winless in three, but it’s been an unlucky run for them, suffering penalty shoot out defeats after 2-2 draws against Barcelona and Osasuna in the Super Cup and Copa del Rey respectively.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have generally been strong on the road, winning four of their last six, including at Rayo Vallecano (2-1) and Real Sociedad (2-0) in La Liga.

They will also prove tough for that toothless Getafe attack to break down, given they have conceded just 14 times all season.
