Sporting Gijon’s fifth place in the table is at stake in this one as both sides come into the meeting level on 61 points.

Girona can equal a decade-old record of five straight wins if they follow up last weekend’s 4-1 away demolition of Logrones and it should pay to back the hosts here.

Last season’s Segunda Division top marksman Christhian Stuani has not been anywhere near as prolific this term, but his double at Logrones suggests he’s rediscovered his goal touch.
