Feyenoord and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Feyenoord are on a remarkable 27-match unbeaten run in the Eredivisie and, despite a rocky start to the season which has been full of draws, they proved their quality with a 3-2 win at Girona in the Champions League at the start of the month. They are worthy favourites for this clash but Go Ahead Eagles have won four of their last six and should net in defeat, just as they did in both head-to-heads last term.

Feyenoord 2-1

Reason for tip

Both meetings last season finished 3-1 in favour of Feyenoord. However, Go Ahead Eagles look a stronger outfit this season and are level on points with Feyenoord, suggesting they may keep things slightly closer this time around.

Go Ahead Eagles vs Feyenoord Predictions

  • Go Ahead Eagles have won four of their last six games
  • Feyenoord are on a 27-match unbeaten run in the Eredivisie
  • Both teams scored and Feyenoord won each meeting between this pair last term

Feyenoord fancied to extend unbeaten run

A mixed start to this Eredivisie campaign means last season’s runners-up, Feyenoord, are sat in sixth and already 11 points behind the runaway leaders PSV.

The Rotterdam outfit are unbeaten in their seven league matches, however, and showed they still have plenty of talent in their ranks when landing a 3-2 victory at Girona in the Champions League earlier this month.

A trip to Go Ahead Eagles will not be straightforward, given the hosts have won four of their last six matches, but Feyenoord’s 27-match unbeaten run in the Eredivisie cannot be ignored and the visitors are worthy favourites for this clash.

Hosts have enough to net in defeat

However, given Go Ahead’s strong form, the fact they are on the same points as Feyenoord and their impressive four-goal haul in their last home match against Heracles, the hosts can be expected to net in defeat on Saturday.

The visitors have managed only one clean sheet in ten matches this term, shipping 17 goals in that run, and could easily be breached by an in-form Eagles side at De Adelaarshorst.

Feyenoord won both meetings between this pair last term while conceding in each of those clashes, making that same bet an extremely appealing one this weekend.
