Granville vs Marseille Betting Tips & Predictions

This is the stuff of dreams for 5th tier side Granville. The amateur side find themselves in the quarter finals of the Coupe De France for the first time in their history and hosting one of the biggest names in French football in Marseille. It’s not going to be easy for them though, that’s for sure.

Marseille may be in relatively poor form at the moment, having one won one of their last six in all competitions, but they shouldn’t come across too many difficulties against a side so inferior to them in terms of quality. It’s no surprise to see the visitors touted as huge favourites, with a win for Marseille coming in at 1/7 .

With Marseille struggling in Ligue 1 at the moment I think we’ll see a lot of the first team regulars rested for this one to keep them as fresh as possible as they try to improve on their 13th position in the table. But an injection of young talent eager to impress at every opportunity they get is usually a good thing for a team, and I would expect the visitors to go out and look for a comprehensive win as they stake their claim for a more regular position in the line up.
