Disparity in quality

It’s been a hard season for the hosts who simply look out of their depth in this division. Union Berlin come to Bavaria after being knocked out of the Europa Conference League during the week when they drew 1-1 at home to Slavia Prague. But they’ve been exceptional domestically and last time out overcame RB Leipzig by a 2-1 scoreline. Whilst their away form remains patchy at best, winning just one of their previous 12 Bundesliga matches on the road, Union Berlin have at least scored in seven straight away games and scored at least twice in four of those.

Misery to continue for the hosts

The visitors are questionable when it comes to away games, however, the quality of their opposition has to be taken into account. Greuther Fürth have been conceding 3.3 goals per game which is more than any other side and we think Union Berlin will score at least twice here. We also think the visitors will win, possibly by a 3-1 scoreline.
