Both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season, but Hamburg are four places above Wolfsburg in the table. The hosts are 11th with two wins and three losses, while the visitors are 15th with one win and four defeats.

Hamburg’s recent Bundesliga results have been a mixed bag, with two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six outings. They beat Mainz 4-0 three weeks ago in their last home game, while Wolfsburg are struggling to find a win, having gone six games without recording a victory.

Both teams are struggling defensively. Hamburg have failed to keep a clean sheet in 13 of their last 14 Bundesliga games against Wolfsburg, while the visitors have been unable to keep out their opponents in seven straight league matches.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking like a decent correct-score bet. The last Bundesliga head-to-head produced four goals but nine of the previous 11 meetings went under 2.5 goals.
