Hearts have become hard to score against

Rangers’ seven-game unbeaten run in the Scottish Premiership should survive a trip to Tynecastle on Wednesday, but Hearts will make it very tough for the Light Blues to take all three points.

The Jambos are on a four-game winning run of their own, although none of the teams they have beaten during that run are currently in the top half.

However, Steven Naismith’s side are becoming hard to score against, having shipped just the once in the four games since they went down 2-1 to Rangers at Ibrox

Shankland knows where the goal is

Goals might be on short supply in this clash with Rangers also having kept three clean sheets in their last four league games.

The hosts will probably have the most natural goalscorer on the pitch wearing their colours with Lawrence Shankland always a threat around the box.

The Scotland international is in fine form too with three strikes in Hearts’ last four home games and a similar number of goals in his last three appearances against Rangers.

Backing fewer than three goals to be scored could pay dividends given three of Hearts’ last four league games and Rangers’ last three have all come in under the 2.5 goal-mark.
