Como not to be underestimated

Como made Champions League history on Wednesday as they demolished Lens 9-1 on the road, becoming the first team ever to win a game by an eight-goal margin away from home in the process.

Cesc Fabregas’ side are the real deal and should be able to demonstrate that in this blockbuster clash with Inter on Sunday. Como have won six games on the spin, scoring 22 goals in the process and conceding just four.

They face an Inter side who may still be reeling from their 3-1 Milan derby defeat last weekend. The hosts did follow it with a 3-0 Champions League victory over Feyenoord but this is a real test against one of the in-form teams in Europe.

Como have only lost one of their six away games in Serie A, winning four of their road trips, so they look set to serve it up to the defending champions.

Fabregas’ men are only two points behind the Nerazzurri and they can make their presence felt by at least avoiding defeat in this clash. Side with Como in the double chance market. Goals have been something of a given for these two recently with five of Como’s last six away games going over 3.5 goals. A 2-2 draw looks a solid correct score pick.
