Holland vs Czech Republic Predictions
It was supposed to be the match-up that decided the winner of this group. Instead, Holland are playing for their lives, they’re playing a game against a quality opponent that they need to win and they are still relying on Turkey to lose against Iceland. If either of those things don’t happen, they’ll be no Dutch team at Euro 2016, which would be a huge shock considering recent history.
Still, it isn’t easy to automatically guarantee that Holland will win anything at this point. Early in September they suffered back-to-back defeats to Iceland and Turkey. Even in their weekend fixture against Kazakhstan, they weren’t completely convincing, even conceding late to increase nerves.
Czech Republic have secured their place in Euro 2016, but they’re some questions about the overall quality of this club. They’ve won two of their last three games, but they came against Latvia and Kazakhstan.
Since starting the campaign with four straight wins, they’ve lost two of their last five and also drawn 1-1 against Latvia. There’s just something missing here and it was evident when they were beaten comfortably 2-0 at home against Turkey. Holland would have appreciated a favour with that one!
Three Reasons for Betting Tips
1. Should be a good game
Both of these teams are happy to let their attacking players give it go, they’ll get the ball wide and even when their backs are against the wall, the culture of the football is to attack.
2. Holland want it more
They want this game so badly, they’ll be the motivated side and we think they’ll find a way to get the extra goal they need to secure three points that might break their campaign.
3. Czech Republic poor form
They haven’t been playing good football and we’re not convinced that they’re going to end their run in the match-up against a good Dutch squad.
