Hull City vs Norwich Predictions
- Hull have won five of their last seven league home games.
- Norwich have won two of their last 11 away Championship matches.
- Both teams have scored in six of the last seven meetings.
Signs are there for a Tigers improvement
Both of these teams have slipped up late but it may be Hull who have more scope for returning to winning ways when they host Norwich on Friday.
The Canaries got their campaign off to a storming start but soon lost momentum and even though they posted a five-match unbeaten run before Christmas, just one point from their last three games has seen them slip back into mid-table and a Fa Cup 1-1 home draw with League One Bristol Rovers will have done little to lift the mood.
Hull have also slipped up a bit lately with three defeats in their last four league games and will have to make immediate improvements if they are to force their way into the playoff picture.
However, they were evenly matched with their opponents statistically in all three of those losses and would have surely had a more profitable trip to struggling Sheffield Wednesday had they not played 55 minutes with ten men.
Canaries capable of finding the net
Despite their poor recent run, Hull have generally been strong on their own patch, winning five of their last seven at home, where they did beat Blackburn 3-2 the last time they were in league action there.
So they are taken to see off David Wagner’s side, who have won just twice in 11 away league games.
While the visitors have failed to score in their last two road games against West Brom and Millwall, they have scored 23 goals on their travels in the league this term, so both goals could score even if it is the Tigers who take the points.
Consequently, a 2-1 how win may be of interest to those looking for a correct-score selection.
