Canaries can build on key victory

Norwich claimed their first Championship win of the season at the weekend, bouncing back from consecutive league defeats to thump Burnley 4-1. After closing last season as one of the division’s form teams, the Canaries now look capable of putting another run together.

The same can’t be said for Stoke, who prop up the Championship standings after losing each of their first three league games. They’ve been good value for that poor start, as they’re also bottom of the Expected Points table.

The Potters have conceded nine goals across their three defeats following their 4-1 loss at Wolves, while they were eliminated by Hull in the Carabao Cup last week.

Stoke have scored in all five of their matches across all competitions this season, while both teams have scored in four of Norwich’s five outings.

The Canaries do have some high-scoring wins to their name, netting 10 times across wins against MK Dons, Cardiff and Burnley.
