      Hull vs Bolton Predictions

This fixture couldn’t have come at a better time for Hull who have been wobbling a little bit over the past couple of weeks. They have lost their last 3 matches in all competitions and haven’t won in over a month now.

Defeats to Derby and Leeds in the league have seen them slip to 4th place and they are 4 points behind 2nd place Middlesbrough now in the race for automatic promotion. They have been strong at home though and hadn’t lost any of their 11 games at the KC Stadium before the Rams visited a fortnight ago.

Their problems are pretty insignificant in comparison to Bolton’s though. Wanderers are deeply in debt and struggling to pay their players and to make matters much worse they’ve only won once all season and are currently propping up the division. Even a shock win here wouldn’t lift them out of the relegation zone and Neil Lennon will be desperate for his side not to get cut adrift at the bottom which despite their struggles has yet to happen.

Bolton have conceded twice or more in 5 of their last 6 away matches and have only picked up 2 points from their 9 away games so far this term. Therefore surely Hull will find some joy here and prior to their last 3 matches, they had won 5 in a row in the league, scoring twice or more in each game without conceding.

With players back from suspension and injury here they should have too much for Bolton and you can back them to score 2 or more goals in this game at 4/6.

One goal could get the confidence flowing again for the Tigers, who have only conceded 13 times in 19 matches this season and they could cruise to a 3-0 win and you can back them to do that at 17/2.
