      Hull vs Charlton Predictions

Hull are very strong at home and are in good form having won all 3 matches so far in 2016. Their 2-0 victory over Cardiff sent them above Derby and into the automatic promotion slots and with Middlesbrough looking very strong at the top, it could turn into a straight shoot-out between Hull and the Rams for 2nd place.

They’ve only lost once in 17 games at the KC Stadium this season and have won all of the last 5 and 9 of the last 10 so the visit of Charlton, who have put in some woeful recent displays should hardly trouble them.

The Addicks have brought back former manager Jose Riga, just 18 months after he was dismissed despite keeping the club in the Championship. Clearly his mission here is to repeat the job although it could be considerably trickier Second time around.

Charlton were battered 5-0 at Huddersfield on Tuesday and it extended their winless run to 10 matches which was enough for the board to replace interim manager Karel Fraeye. It was their heaviest defeat of the season but it was also the 8th time that Charlton had been beaten by 3 or more goals this term and stats like that indicate that something is badly wrong, particularly at the back.

Heading to a Hull side that are so strong at home, this should be a relatively one-side affair and certainly backing Hull to win by 2 goals or more at Evens looks like a smart move here.

Riga will have had precious little time to really make any meaningful chances so consider backing Hull to win 3-0 at 7/1.
