Inter Milan vs Chievo Betting Tips

A tough 3-0 loss to bitter rivals AC Milan capped a couple of difficult weeks for Inter Milan. It almost immediately followed a 3-0 away loss to Juventus in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final. The weekend defeat makes it four straight games without a win for Inter, whose shutdown defence hasn’t quite worked in recent weeks. They’ve just slipped slightly in the table, from championship contender to Europa League battler.

Chievo enter Wednesday match after a couple of tough games. They were blown away 4-0 at home by Juventus at the weekend, they suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat to Lazio the match before that. Prior to that, they had started 2016 with a three-game unbeaten stretch. They do need to string together a couple of results, even in tougher patches of their schedule.

Some of Chievo’s challenges have been caused by an injury list that appears to be growing by the day. Bostjan Cesar, Simone Pepe, Nicola Rigoni and Perparim Hetmaj can all be added to the doubtful list. Alessandro Gamberini and Riccardo Meggiorini have been out for a longer period time.

Inter, are relatively healthy, they’re missing just Ivan Perisic from their line-up.
