Inverness CT vs Rangers Predictions
Inverness CT managed an impressive 1-1 draw at the free-scoring Hearts last weekend in the Scottish Premiership, which should give them a lot of confidence as they head into another tough game in this rather difficult stretch of fixtures for the relegation candidates. By the 2nd of March they will have played Celtic twice, Hearts, and Rangers in a three week stretch of fixtures.
They do have some hope at the moment though. Their draw against Hearts made it one win, three draws, and two defeats in their last six outings in all competitions, and whilst they are still winless in a huge 14 Scottish Premiership games they have managed to salvage a point from three of their last four.
This winless streak unsurprisingly leaves them bottom of the Premiership, but there is just two points between them and Hamilton in 11th, so their time in the top flight isn’t over just yet. At home they have drawn five and lost two of their last seven and have only lost four of their 12 home league games all season.
Rangers are in turmoil at the moment as they continue to search for Mark Warburton’s successor after a bizarre parting of company between him and the club. Things didn’t get any better for them last weekend as they surprisingly lost 2-1 at Dundee to make it three wins, two draws, and four defeats in their last nine outings in all competitions.
This has seen them drop to four points adrift of 2nd placed Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership, and in the league they have now won just one of their last six games and have lost three times.
Away from home the Ibrox outfit have won five, drawn three, and lost five of their 12 league games this season, keeping just two clean sheets but finding the net in all but one of them.
Inverness CT have only failed to score in two of their home games this season as well, but they have only kept one clean sheet in the process. This makes odds of 4/5 for Both Teams to Score look very good value indeed, so I’m backing that alongside a 1-1 correct score predictions at 6/1.
