Ipswich vs Bristol City Predictions
- Ipswich have won their last five Championship matches
- Bristol City have lost their last three league matches, scoring just once in the process
- Ipswich beat Bristol City 1-0 earlier this season
Tractor Boys are back in top gear
Ipswich fell off the automatic promotion pace in the Championship with a dodgy spell between the middle of December and the start of February, but they have got themselves together and look to back in top form at just the right time.
The Tractor Boys are unbeaten in six matches and have won their last five with the goals continuing to flow.
Town have bagged 70 goals this season, just one short of leaders Leicester, and their matches are generally entertaining affairs with goals at both ends.
However, we predict the second-placed side to secure a rare win to nil this week against their out-of-sorts visitors.
Leicester’s recent slump has given Ipswich the chance to close in on top spot and they are unlikely to slip up at Portman Road on Tuesday.
City have lost their last three and have scored just once in that sequence and they are in danger of being dragged into the relegation scrap with the sides below them improving.
Robins are in a flap
Bristol City looked to be in a comfortable position in mid-table but they are just six points clear of 22nd-place Stoke, and suddenly they are nervously looking behind them.
Following this clash with Ipswich, the Robins face Swansea, Leicester and West Brom and their position could become even more perilous following that tricky trio of matches.
Things are unlikely to improve at in-form Ipswich who are scoring goals for fun again out prediction is for a 3-0 home win.
The Suffolk side have scored at least twice in their last seven matches and another comfortable win is predicted on Tuesday.
