France To Win To Nil

France 2-0

Reason for tip

France have scored more than twice in just two of their last 13 games and a couple of goals should be more than enough for a Nations League victory.

Israel vs France Predictions

  • Israel have lost five of their last seven matches
  • Seven of France’s last nine games have featured fewer than three goals
  • Both teams have scored in three of France’s last ten matches

Nations League proving a struggle for Israel

Israel have already found life difficult in their intimidating Nations League group with defeats to Belgium and Italy, and things might not get much better when they face Israel in Budapest on Thursday.

Ben Shimon’s team have tasted victories against only Andorra and Belarus in their last seven matches and there has been little to suggest they can make much of a mark in this clash judging by their previous two efforts this season.

They fell to a 3-1 defeat in Belgium when they benefitted from an own goal and their strike in a 2-1 loss to Italy came in injury-time when the game was virtually over.

France have a strong recent record of keeping clean sheets and should be able to do so again as they look for a second win in the Nations League campaign.

France are not full of goals

Kylian Mbappe will be missing for Les Bleus while Antoine Griezmann has retired from international football, but Didier Deschamps’ team should still have a bit in hand.

They have not gone goal crazy lately, scoring more than once in just two outings since a 14-0 thumping of Gibraltar 13 games ago, so take them to claim a 2-0 success in Hungary.
