Flamengo to continue their good start

Juventude haven’t had the best of starts to their Serie A campaign, picking up just one win in their opening six league games. This has left them in 14th place but, perhaps most worryingly, they have only scored four goals so far this season whilst conceding nine times.

Flamengo have got off to a much better start, winning three of their opening four games, falling to just one loss a fortnight ago against leaders, Bragantino. They have scored just under two goals a game in that time but conceded an average of a goal a game.

Five of the last six fixtures between these sides have seen the 2.5 goal line beaten and we’re predicting similar things to happen here with the visitors seeing their last two matches beat the line with ease. We’re backing Flamengo to win this match but their defence looks a little suspect which goes some way to explaining out forecast of a 3-1 scoreline in the favour of the visitors.
