Kilmarnock vs Hibernian Predictions

Hibernian are in the winning habit and look set to continue their good form away at Kilmarnock on Saturday. Stuart Kettlewell’s side will struggle to keep out David Gray’s team, who are more prolific in front of goal than their hosts.

Hibernian are sixth in the league table, six places and 18 points above Kilmarnock. Hibernian have eight wins, seven draws and five defeats from their 20 games this season, while Kilmarnock have won two, drawn seven and lost 11.

Hibernian have been in prolific form going forward, scoring two or more goals in 12 of their 20 Premiership games this season.

The home defence have looked vulnerable. Kilmarnock have failed to keep a clean sheet in 16 of their last 20 Premiership games and have conceded 16 goals at home this season – an average of 1.60 goals per game from ten matches.

There’s a lot to like about Hibernian’s current form. They have won their last two Premiership matches and have lost on just one of their last seven visits to Kilmarnock.

Kilmarnock are enduring a rough spell, having not won in 13 Premiership games. They have managed just one victory in their last ten home league matches, and have lost four of the last five.

A 2-1 away win for Hibernian looks a decent correct-score bet. Both teams have found the net in five of the last seven Premiership games between these sides and Kilmarnock have been on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline three times this season.
