Lazio vs Genoa Betting Tips

Well, what do we make of Lazio now? They’ve lost two games this season, to Napoli and Chievo, which isn’t disastrous by any stretch of the imagination. However, it’s a little more disturbing that they’ve lost those games 5-0 and 4-0 respectively.

On the other hand, this is a team that can look extremely good. They’ve got players that like to be on the ball and they are happy to attack and to take risks.

On Wednesday night, they’re at home against a Genoa side that has struggled through its opening schedule. They’ve lost three of four to start 2015-16, but being beaten by Palermo, Fiorentina and Juventus isn’t too shameful. A trip to Lazio doesn’t necessarily present a clear opportunity, but they’ll be at least somewhat intrigued by the chance to go up against a team that lost 5-0 on Sunday night.

Genoa’s approach is to use its size and defensive structure to battle out for victories. They don’t adapt it too much based on either opposition or whether they are home or away.

2. Lazio struggling against better opponents?

They got past Udinese and Bologna, but those two teams will probably only be battling against relegation this season. Are Lazio weaker than we expected? Their games against Chievo and Napoli have at least done enough to temporarily shake our betting confidence against them.
