Juventus Draw No Bet

Reason for tip

Lazio have lost their last three home Serie A matches and, despite a win at Frosinone last time out, still look like they miss a cutting edge in attack. Although Juventus have failed to win their last three away games, they did win six of the seven before that and should return from the break refreshed. Draw no bet is taken as Juve will be without two strikers that could have made a big difference, but their defence is solid enough to get the job done.

Juventus 1-0

Reason for tip

Juventus have the second-best defence in Serie A and should be able to shut out a Lazio attack that has produced just three goals in their last five home games. It feels like a classic 1-0 away win for Allegri’s men due to the visitors being without key attackers.

Lazio vs Juventus Predictions

  • Lazio have lost their last three home Serie A matches
  • Although Juventus have failed to win their last three away games, they did win six of the seven before that
  • Both teams are missing key players, but Juve’s squad is deeper

Bianconeri can go again after much-needed break

Juventus have enough quality to put Lazio in their place when they travel to the Olimpico for Saturday’s Easter fixture in Serie A.

Title contenders until their 1-0 defeat at Inter last month, the Turin giants have had to reset their goals for the season after suffering a lingering hangover from that defeat. Massimiliano Allegri’s men are now in a battle to stay in the top three after taking only seven points from their last eight matches.

The international break should have helped them to get over the mental trauma of letting their Scudetto chance slip by, but they will still be without two of their main strikers – Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik – for this trip to Rome.

Lazio are struggling for goals at home

Turkish teenager Kenan Yildiz is being tipped to start alongside Federico Chiesa in Allegri’s 3-5-2 system with Moise Kean not fit enough to last much longer than 45 minutes right now. Despite Juve’s recent struggles, their defensive record is still excellent with only Inter having conceded fewer goals in Serie A.

Lazio scored three at Frosinone last time out, but they have struggled for goals at home – managing only three strikes in their last five matches at the Olimpico. Ciro Immobile is a shadow of his former self at the moment and there have been only rare glimpses of class from Taty Castellanos this term.

Therefore, it seems likely that even a depleted Juve side can find a way to return with all three points by focusing on defensive structure. A 1-0 win looks the most likely outcome with Juve taken Drawn no bet here due to the possibility that they leak one at the back.
